Kris’s work is fueled by technical know-how and her passion for design. She is accomplished at using her conceptual creative expertise, strategic skills, and business and organizational acumen to produce targeted, multi-channel deliverables.
She has more than 20 years of experience helping companies and nonprofit organizations of all sizes build awareness, improve their customers’ experience, and define and enhance their brands. Kris is a champion of strategic groundwork, which she uses as a jumping-off point to craft graphic identities, customer journey maps, infographics, and digital and traditional communications.
Kris has served as the creative lead on more than 15 cross-functional teams, and is active in the creative community, proudly mentoring 10 young designers in the past five years. Her work has garnered a Museum Marketing award, and praise from Print and How magazines.
She has a B.F.A. from the University of North Dakota, and continually updates her skills through professional development coursework in web and interactive design, software applications, communications, and strategy.
